Check the audience

Confirm why each contact is eligible for this call. Normalize phone numbers, remove duplicates and retain the consent source. Apply do-not-call suppression before launch. Make sure the contact timezone is known rather than assuming every lead shares your office’s working hours.

Define one outcome

Choose a narrow purpose, such as confirming an appointment or learning whether an opted-in lead wants a follow-up. Write a short opening that discloses AI, explains the purpose and gives the person room to decline. Define the information you need and what the assistant should never promise.

Set limits before volume

Choose a calling window, maximum attempts, retry spacing and campaign end date. Set concurrency within the account and number limits. Estimate both provider and platform usage, then set a budget and review the wallet balance. More simultaneous calls also means more simultaneous opportunities for a mistake.

Test and inspect

Run a simulation to inspect the workflow, then use a number you control for a live test when your provider is ready. Review the disclosure, pronunciation, interruption behavior and final call record. Test no-answer and opt-out paths, not only the successful conversation.

Close the loop

Decide who reviews failed calls, qualified leads and integration errors. Follow-up messages require the right channel consent and delivery configuration. Compare actual outcomes with the purpose you set, and pause the campaign if the conversation or audience needs work.
